Dr. Tedd Puckett
Ophthalmologist, MD, FACS
Dr. Puckett graduated Magna Cum Laude at the University of Denver in 1984 with majors in Biology and Chemistry and a minor in Mathematics. He attended medical school at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences at Bethesda, Maryland. He completed a medical/surgical internship at Fitzsimons Army Medical Center in Denver, Colorado. Dr. Puckett completed his Ophthalmology residency at Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C. in 1993.
Dr. Puckett practiced comprehensive ophthalmology at Fort Stewart, Georgia from 1993 to 1999. During this time he became a Diplomate (Certified Specialist) of the American Board of Ophthalmology, completed a Fellowship training in Diseases of the Retina and Vitreous and was certified by the American Board of Eye Surgery with specialty in cataract surgery.
Dr. Puckett has been in private practice in Southwest Virginia since 1999. Offices are located in Christiansburg and Wytheville. He continues to practice comprehensive Medical and Surgical Ophthalmology including treatment for cataracts, retinal, vitreous, glaucoma and pediatrics.
